| Recycle Used Tennis Balls Make Your Own Set Of Juggling Balls Step by step instructions to recycle worn out tennis balls and spread the joy of juggling to everyone. |
Many people like to use tennis balls to learn how to juggle. They are conveniently easy to find, but they are not the best juggling equipment because of the way they bounce out of your hands. You now have instructions to take ordinary tennis balls and transform them into juggling props that are perfect for learning and even good enough for performing. These balls are perfect gifts to give to all of your friends. After your friends learn to juggle, you'll have many more passing opportunities.
Materials Needed
· Old, used tennis balls
· Parakeet seeds (should contain no sunflower seeds, only the small round seeds)
· 9" round balloons (2 per ball, any color you like)
· Small funnel
· Utility knife
· Any type of glue
· Zip-lock storage bags
Instructions
1. Poke a very small slit in the seam of the tennis
ball with the utility knife.
2. Push the funnel into the ball, then pull the funnel back so just the tip remains in.
3. Pour the parakeet seed into the funnel until the ball is filled.
4. Hold over a waste basket and pull the funnel out, letting the remaining seeds fall in.
5. Use a tiny bit of glue to secure the slit back together.
6. Cut most of the end off of a balloon and then stretch it over the ball.
7. Pull on the neck of the balloon and cut once more to make it lay flat against the ball.
8. Repeat steps 6 & 7 with another balloon to cover the hole of the first balloon.
9. Place it in a zip-lock bag and repeat steps 1-8 with 2 more balls.
10. Place a copy of these instructions in the zip-lock bag and give it to a friend.
Repeat the above steps many times (after all, parakeet seeds come in large quantities).
